Course Goals

Students will demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and applications of geometric properties and relationships through a variety of methods.

Students will think logically in order to use given facts to develop step-wise certain conclusions

Students will develop skills and competencies for real world and higher educational settings, including CAPT

Students will be able to communicate effectivly using the language of mathematics

Ellington High School students will

    Classroom Expectations
  1. Be Promt - Students are expected to be on time to class. The third tardy and all subsequent tardies are considered an absence. After 22 absences (or tardies) students will lose credit for the course.
  2. Be Prepared - All materials (including homework) are to be brought to class each day. It is the students' responsibility to obtain make up work when absent.
  3. Be Patient - Students are to remain quiet during instruction and courteous to other students at all times.
